This post and all future tai-chi posts are dedicated to our Grandfather.

The Taoist Tai-chi society is an international group based in Toronto, Canada whose main mission is promoting the benefits of Tai Chi Chuan through a training method developed by late founder Master Moy Lin-shin.
Also called taijiquan, this method of martial arts focuses on soft movements and forms designed for health and wellness benefits.

GreatNewsMontgomery.com recently stopped in on the 2009 National Workshop held at their local center on 3666a Debby Drive in Montgomery, Alabama.
TaiChi enthusiasts from all around came to learn, practice and enjoy each others company over the 2 day workshop.
Although stopping by unannounced, Eddie was invited to enjoy a tasty lunch and allowed to record a short clip of a form being practiced.
Click on picture for a link to the local site which has some very good information about taichi and a class schedule.
Here Dr. Judith Rogers talks about the four main goals of the Society.

Here is an open question to Dr. Rogers and those involved with the workshop. You asked us not to take certain pictures and not post video on youtube.
We respect those requests and that is why the videos appear as links to one of our video hosting sites rather than our usual You-tube HQ video view, but wonder what are your concerns about publicity?
You mentioned tradition when we met but there is already video and pictures and references of your founder on You tube and on your international website. There is already video of teachers and instructors of tai-chi all over the place.
What reasons do you all have for not wanting to advance the teachings of tai-chi in the most public ways possible?
Thanks for the hospitality and hope we can help you in the future.

Tai Chi (The Grand Ultimate Fist) is one of the most mis-understood martial arts on the planet. What I love about Tai Chi is that your understanding grows as you study longer.
